data insert page datepicker not working... validation broken

hey guys,

I have a form insert with a datepicker that is to validate "required" and it is not working....

the datepicker itself works, it's the validation that seems to be broken...
I can pick the date fine, but when I progress to the next field in the form the validation throws the error...even though the date is in the text field!!

If I pick a second time validation passes
I can't seem to find the error...

Hey Jason,

Site is in dev... not on web.
You can use team viewer to remote desktop...

just a note..

**** after a refresh and session file deletion, starting fresh with page load, typing in datepicker text field: 2014/12/12 and selecting another field JQ VALIDATION PASSES !!... possible something with the default datepicker mm/dd/yy format????
