DataAssist Search Wizard Additional configuration

In the help for data assist search wizard it talkes about

Note: Additional configuration is necessary to display record results on the current page using the recordset filtered by the search.

the wizard displays a sample search sql but doesn't tell you how to configure the results recordset to show the results from the search.

Can any one shed some light on the subject.

Once the results recordset has been crafted you can put this information onto the page anywhere you would like by going to the bindings tab of the application panel. Expand the recordset then drag and drop any of the bindings for the columns onto the page where you would like to see this info.

Its creating the recordset sql that the problem lies. I can do the binding part but struggling with crafting the recordset sql.

I feel like I'm missing a part of this. Your results page should have a recordset on it by default, the DataAssist Search server behavior is applied to this recordset. So if you have a search/results page set that was crafted with DataAssist you should only need to use the bindings to get the info on the page.

If you are trying to craft the results page manually with your own query please describe what problems you are having crafting your query.
