code generated simple pulldown menu contains syntax error option HTML
This is code generated from a test: Generate a form containing nothing but a simple "yes" "no" menu choice on a page that is just a dirt simple basic PHP page. I haven't messed with anything, no dynamic content, nothing. This is direct from the CSS Form Builder: Form Elements: Menu-medium
and I get a syntax error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '' (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE), expecting identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or number (T_NUM_STRING) in Z:\web\Testing\Test1.php on line 116
Option code is like so (I've added line breaks so that it is OBVIOUS where the problem is....
<option value="yes" <?php if (!(strcmp("yes", WA_coalesce(array(WA_getSavedFormValue("Default_NewFromBlank_Default","myMenu"),(isset($_GET["invalid"])?ValidatedField("Test1","myMenu"):
"<?php
echo(
(isset
($_POST[\""
)))))) {echo "selected=\"selected\"";} ?>>yes</option>
The problem is at the $_POST[\"" - to me it appears that this item was truncated, and something is missing here. I do not see a ']' closing this reference.
I got to this because I am using menus, and radio elements and these invariably get generated with this syntax error. I can mess with the code, but I am not entirely sure I won't break something if I cut out the bad references.
File is attached (from Dreamweaver) This is a somewhat minimal test file.
