"Help" files not working - sort of

If I select help I am brought to the adobe pdf window telling me to click here to allow your computer to display the desired page. (I'm paraphrasing here).
Well I've seen this in the past and done so successfully, but now when I click on the link provided by Adobe I'm taken to a "Page Not Found".
I can still view some of the help content but I can't view the menu that would display on the left and can't go deeper if I need to.
This is a real problem.

I have not seen this issue before in the past. Do you have another browser that you can try this on?

Or try to access the help documentation a little later to see if it was a server issue?

This has happened repeatedly for some time now and I don't think it's browser specific. I'm at my laptop now, when I get back to my desktop I'll check.
Leads me to another question.
I can load my Adobe products on both my Desktop and laptop but the way I read your license indicates I can't do the same with your extensions.
I work at whichever machine is most comfortable, at the moment the heat has driven me out of my office. It would be nice if I could use your extensions in either context.
Is that possible?

You are allowed to install the product and activate on two different machines as long as you are the developer on both machines. The license is for one developer, not one machine.

Following up on the original reason for this post.
Just tried to access "Help" in iRite and got the following.attachment.php?attachmentid=340&stc=1&d=1252006644
I've seen this our something very much like it in the past and have been successful in changing settings.
Here though, I'm taken to an Adobe 404.
US_author.html
after passing through
macromedia.com/go/settmgr_locsecy_en-US_author
and
adobe.com/go/settmgr_locsecy_en-US_author

Which of the help documents are you trying to access? Are you still able to access the iRite help documents?

I will make some suppositions here that I won't be able to confirm till I get back to my desktop.
I don't think it matters which help I'm trying to see and as I said before the relevant help file displays but the menu that should display on the left side of the page does not so I can't follow any threads that may be contained in the help file.
I think this is a DW problem with the configuration on my desktop.
G5 dual 2.7 OS X 10.4.11 Adobe CS4.

Try checking the security settings for flash and make sure the Dreamweaver configuration folder is allowed. Here is a post that explains how to do this:

You can also access the help documents by going to www.webassist.com and clicking on support. Select Support Resources for the product you need and the online help link. This will get you to the same help document, but you will have to find which section you were on
