add to cart working on MAMP, not working on server

add to cart working on MAMP, not working on server

add to cart and continue shopping are working on MAMP, not working on Linux CentOS 5.10 server.

adding to cart on Mac in various browsers has the browser hanging with "waiting for..." in the status bar. no errors. just hanging.

adding to cart was successful in SeaMonkey on Windows XP but "continue shopping" is the same hanging without an error.

also can't access the item page by direct url after a browser starts to hang

does eCart 6 use any of these php: show_source, system, shell_exec, passthru, exec, phpinfo, popen, proc_open, allow_url_fopen

I'll need to troubleshoot directly, see the private message section.

For some reason the server was not stoping the processes on the spring.php page when the header function was called to redirect it to the cart display page.

to work around the issue, i updated the code to redirect to the cart page:

<?php
// WA eCart Redirect
if ($eCart1->redirStr != "") {
header("Location: ".$eCart1->redirStr);
}
?>

to:
<?php
// WA eCart Redirect
if ($eCart1->redirStr != "") {
session_commit();
header("Location: ".$eCart1->redirStr);
exit();
}
?>

make the same change on the cart page to the code that performs the redirect:

<?php
// WA eCart Redirect
if ($eCart1->redirStr != "") {
header("Location: ".$eCart1->redirStr);
}
?>

to:
<?php
// WA eCart Redirect
if ($eCart1->redirStr != "") {
session_commit();
header("Location: ".$eCart1->redirStr);
exit();
}
?>
