A kind of zip / postcode proximity search effect

I have loads of addresses being displayed on a map, and I want to be able to provide a postcode input text box so that a user can enter their postcode and display it between all of those pulled from a database... is this possible?

I don't have access to my Mac with the webassist software on it at the moment, but doesn't the google maps pro tool allow you to have more than one line of map info in it? If so, do you think I could take the database zip or postcodes and combine them with a form entered value? Basically, is there a way what would use two data sources combine them and have the form entered value be the automatically or default centred point of the map?

What do you think?

No, this wont work as you intend.

a radius search is more complex than that .

see this page for an example:
