ecart 6 jquery validation - position of tooltip not changing

After creating the checkout page via the wizard, i want to change the form validation css and positioning.

I went into Webassist->Forms->Jquery Validation

I chose to edit the current design (Bloom) in form settings and changed the message box colours under the message box tab- works ok

By default, the tab appears above the text field offset by 20 px, but I can change the offset position to any value, and the position does not change,

I can see the block of code on my checkout page has been updated, but nothing happens visually.

make sure to upload the webassist/ecart folder to have the CSS uploaded to the server.

Hi Jason.

I did that.

The css changes the tooltip colours ok, but the tooltip position doesn;t change.

can i confirm that this is the code which changes, on the checkout page itself ?

var CheckoutWizard_Cool_Default_Opts = {
focusout: true,
focusin: false,
change: false,
keyup: false,
popupClass: "Bloom",
pointedAt: "left",
fieldOffset: 1120,
fieldMargin: 2,
position: "left",
direction: "left",
border: 1,
offset: 25,
closeText: "?",
percentWidth: 100,
orientation: "bottom",
};

I changed the field offset by the interface and by editing the code directly, and nothing happens

yes is the code to use to change the pointer.

to change the offset of the message, use the fieldOffset:

fieldOffset: 100,

Thats what I thought, it doesn't seem to work.

Here is a link to a test page, where the fieldOffset is supposedly 1120

http://www.cfci.forthwebsolutions.com/checkout.php

if you click on any name or email fireld, then change the focus, or the 'pay withcard/paypal' button you will see the position

Thanks Jason,

Glad its not me. Trouble with any new app is getting to know your way around it.

Craig, could you post FTP information to the private area of a reply so that I can do some testing on the page directly... there is a lot going on with this page, so it might be hard for me to reproduce to test locally.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Wondered if this is still a problem.

I have a checkout page with jquery validation, and the invalid messages are till set way over to the right, no matter what i change
