ecart 6 ECO how to add custom fields

Sorry, lots of questions at the moment.

How can I add custom fields to the paypal (express) checkout process so that they appear on the order summary of the paypal payment page, - seems very different from before.

looking through the express checkout documentation, I don't see a way to add a custom field that displays on the paypal page outside of concatenating the information to one of the existing fields.

how did you do it before?

Hi Jason,

I don;t remember how i did it before, - its been a few months since I did an ecommerce site - I seem to remember there were two variables, on0 and on1 or something like that, which could be used to display additional information,

It may not be necessary, all I want to do is display both the title and the description in paypal, but it seems to show only the title and the item number

Attached is an image showing the cart and the paypal details superimposed, you can see the title (and item number) in the cart, but not the description

ok, on the checkout page, the code that sends the name to paypal will look like this:

$WA_PP_ECO_Do_itemized[0][$nextIndex] = "Name" . strval($cartIndex+1) . "";
$WA_PP_ECO_Do_itemized[1][$nextIndex] = "".$eCart1->DisplayInfo("Name") ."";

edit that to concatenate the description:

$WA_PP_ECO_Do_itemized[0][$nextIndex] = "Name" . strval($cartIndex+1) . "";
$WA_PP_ECO_Do_itemized[1][$nextIndex] = "".$eCart1->DisplayInfo("Name") ." Desc: ".$eCart1->DisplayInfo("Description")."" ;
