cannot add display manager

Using ecart 6 for the first time since beta. (DWCS6 ecart 6.0.3)

When I try to add display manager, i get the message attached and all that is inserted into the page is the following...

this should be fixed in 6.0.3, i know it was a problem in earlier versions.

perhaps the 6.0.3 install did not overwrite all files properly.

try recreating the users configuration folder and reinstalling:

Thanks Jason.

I recreated the users configuration folder and reinstalled design extender. databridge and ecart. and it now works ok

Oops spoke too soon.

Now I get a different error..

When I try to create a new column in the ecart object i get the following...

Javascript error on line 628.

cleared the cache, no change

Got fed up with it, so installed CC, installed all the extensions, get EXACTLY the same error.

I've not seen that error before.

What is the name for the column you are adding?

Does this happen with a new blank site? or editing a previous eCart object?

it first happened when i tried to edit an ecart object.

what i then did was to delete the ecart object and add a new column whilst creating the instance, and I get the same error.

as soon as i start to type into the name field, I get the error, so i cannot create a new ecart instance other than the default

I actually get 2 errors, an onblur error, followed by an onchange error, as shown above, same line number

Hmm, Ok, I was able to reproduce the error. I have logged a bug to have it corrected, I will let you know when I have more details.

Glad its not just me !

Don;t know if its related, (and if not I can start a separate thread), but if i resize the screen for smaller devices, when i change the quantity on the cart display and click the 'update' which appears, nothing happens, but on full size, the update button works ok

that should not be related.

I'll need to troubleshoot directly, see the private message section.

on the cart page, i fixed the problem by changing the cart JSOPN object reference:

<script>
var ecart_json = "../../WA_eCart/eCart1_JSON.php";
</script>

to:
<script>
var ecart_json = "../../WA_eCart/cfcicart_JSON.php";
</script>
