Static option on dynamic cart

Hi Guys, I have a dynamic cart working fine. One of teh products needs a size option of small, medium and large.

Is it possible to add a static size dropdown to a dynamic cart? It would be easy to show / hide the size drop down beside the add to cart button for the product in question, but is it possible to grab the selected size?

Thanks a million

yes, it would be the same as adding a regular static option.

just add an if statement around the select list so it only shows for the one product.

and another if statement to add a hidden element of the same name for other products

Thanks Jason, Added size as a column to the ecart object. Creating a new add to cart button I am unsure what to do with the size field?

Thanks

Jon

Thanks, got it working, I had to delete the display manager to show the new size, this is fine but now when I try to redo the checkout wizard I get a javascript error.. Cleared the site cache files but no joy. I attach the error message. Thanks for your help. Jon

in the WA_eCart folder, delete the WA_DMCFG.xml file.

try restarting the system, then Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Common-installation-issues

and reset the workspace layout:
go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

No luck Jason. Same error message. Shut down, cleared the cache files and reset workspace.
