Cms and Ckeditor upgrade - to work in iPad

When I try to edit content in my admin site, ckeditor disappears in iPad. Ckeditor is 3.5.2 and I can´t figure out how to upgrade it (I also went to ckeditor.com web site but could´t make it work)?

in the webassist/ folder, rename the ckeditor folder to ckeditor_bak

On this page:
download

click the button to launch CK Builder. Select to use the Full Preset, and the Kama Skin.

Copy the downloaded CKEditor folder to the webassist folder in your site.

from the ckeditor_back folder, copy the following three files:
ckeditor.php
ckeditor-php4.php
ckeditor-php5.php

and paste them in the new ckeditor folder.

you will need to clear the browsers cache to see the updates take effect.

html editor - phone and tablet compatibility

Hi jason

Despite having the latest version of Design Extender, the html editor doesn't display when looking on my ipad/iphone - I'd have thought this would be integrated by now.

Am in the process of following the instructions in this thread, but am not happy about having to do so! Much easier for me to use someone else's extension that works 'out of the box'
Cheers
Chris

The CKEditor version in Design Extender 1.1.9 is 4.1.1. I have logged a bug to have the CKeditor version updated to the most recent version.
