Map location titles

Map location titles

This is such a nice tool, it seems really odd that all it shows is an address. Is there a way to add something into the code to show the name of the location? Business name, restaurant name, whatever? What's the sense in showing multiple locations and not have any indication of what that location is. Help a kid out.

Thanks

TJ

There are lots of options for what you might do. What exactly are you trying to do? We would need to start there.

Are you using a database?

Yes, I have a MySQL database going, connects fine. What I want is to show not only an address, but the name of the business as well. It's a Chamber of Commerce member map showing locations of each member business.

You could use the recordset to create a display of each location on the html page below the map and link it to the corresponding location. I haven't done this, but it should also be possible to add recordset references into the info window directly. Have you tried anything? Sometimes creating web pages is about trying things and debugging the result.
