Jquery Validation

Hi,

I have created my own form on dreamweaver and have used the jquery validation which does work and does not allow the form to be processed without the fields to be filled in. However the jquery validation does not check the field to see whether it contains the same letters as the capatcha. How can I solve this.

Thanks

captcha validation is done using server side validation.

see the form toolkit getting started guide:

it sounds like you are adding the show if around the captcha image rather than creating the error message and adding the show if around the error message.

add the error test to the page, select it, then add the show if around the error test.

no, you shoul validate captcha using server validation.

the validation show if behavior is used to show an error when validation fails.

so add the error to the page, select it, then add the validation show if behavior and set the trigger to show the error if captcha validation fails.

send a copy of the page please, and a more detailed explanation of how it is "not working"

what _does_ it do versus what you expect it to do.
