DataBridge 1.1.6 - Error in uiInitialize: TypeError: XMLString has no properties

Hi,

I installed these in this order.
eCart 6.0.1
FreeTools 1.0.8
Design Extender 1.1.7
Data Bridge 1.1.6

Deleted the winFileCache, restarted Dreamweaver and got this error when trying to use Data Assist. Error in uiInitialize: TypeError: XMLString has no properties

Re-installed everything got the same error.
Uninstalled everything again and re-installed only Data Bridge, tried to use Data Assist.and received the same error.

Re-installed everything got the same error.

Any help is appreciated,

Jack

What is your OS? Dreamweaver version?

at what part of using Data Bridge does this occur? on open? When setting up one of the pages? or setting the field settings?

exact steps to reproduce would be helpful.

Using Windows 7, Dreamweaver CC.

The error occurs when opening Data Assist: Create Pages. It happens as Data Assist is still loading.

"Error in uiInitialize: TypeError: XMLString has no properties"

I attached an .AVI.

Thanks

try deleting the following file from the users configuration folder:
Configuration/shared/webassist/databridge/autosave.xml

if that doesn't work, please post back a US phone number or skype address and we will do a screen sharing session to troubleshoot.

Hi Jason,

There isn't an autosave.xml file in that location. It just contains two items: License.dat Nd a file called "shared" which is a JavaScript Script file

EDIT: OK found it it's in the DataAssist folder

sorry about the location error, did deleting that file fix the error for you?

It didn't Jason. It bought up a new error. I'm afraid I'm just going out now so I'll have to get back to this tomorrow.
