Wizard keeps kicking me out at the end of the process when I click on the design button. Has happened at least 10 times.

I am trying to modify a template to use website color scheme and when I click on the DESIGN tab, it goes blank and all work is lost.

What is your OS?

What version of Dreamweaver?

What version of Design Extender is installed?

make sure you have the latest version, 1.1.7 installed. If you have a previous version, uninstall it from the extension manager and install the latest version.

Note, the new version uses a new install routine.

after installing the extension in the extension manager, open DW< then open a php page to launch the WebAssist Installer that will finish the install process. After the WebAssist Installer completes, restart Dreamweaver.

try disabling the preview.

go to webAssist -> Preferences. in the preview section, select the Disabled option.

the preview will still be accessible by clicking the preview placeholder.

If ti works with the preview disabled, you may want to try one of the other preview engines like webkit.
