How do I turn off the function that send an email notification to new users when I insert them manually in the admin. My client doesn't want an email going out to the person who has been added by them.

on the admin_pm/users_registration.php page, the code that sends the email is at lines 194 - 205:
<?php
if ((($_SERVER["REQUEST_METHOD"] == "POST") && (isset($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"]) && strpos(urldecode($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"]), urldecode($_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"].$_SERVER["PHP_SELF"])) > 0) && isset($_POST))) {
//WA Universal Email object="mail"
//Send Loop Once Per Entry
$RecipientEmail = "".((isset($_POST["UserEmail"]))?$_POST["UserEmail"]:"") ."";include("../webassist/email/WAUE_users_Registration_1.php");
//Send Mail All Entries
if ("users_detail.php?UserID=".(mysql_insert_id()) .""!="") {
header("Location: users_detail.php?UserID=".(mysql_insert_id()) ."");
}
}
?>
you can change the if statement that triggers the code:
if ((($_SERVER["REQUEST_METHOD"] == "POST") && (isset($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"]) && strpos(urldecode($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"]), urldecode($_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"].$_SERVER["PHP_SELF"])) > 0) && isset($_POST))) {
to one that will never evaluate to true:
if ("1" != "1") {
in other words if 1 does not equal 1.
My client added a blog and in the process lost the title section. I went in and deleted that blog and had them create a new one but now we get both blogs showing up in the results page. The one that was deleted and the new one. The old one when clicked brings up the comment section but not the blog.
See the PM for the page in question.
Hi Jason,
As always you are quick with the help. Fortunately I was able to figure it out by deleting the title from the CMS data base so all is good.
Thank you for the quick response.
Regards,
Cool, glad to hear it is working.
