I have problem in display Arabic text form database table,

I have problem in display Arabic text form database table, I've added to mysql connectin
mysql_query("SET NAMES utf8");

and also in my php and Html pages /
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<?php mysql_query("SET NAMES utf8");?>

my table in database defined as general-utf-8 ....

and instead of Arabic text it display garbage
please help

solution just found

just I've changed the Collation of content column in my database to utf8_general_ci
