invalid JSON: MySQL server has gone away

I'm in the middle of sending a newsletter using PowerMessenger but I get this error message: invalid JSON: MySQL server has gone away. Thia happens after sending only 82 email of 1134. It actually stops on 83.

What is the fix for this? Is there a way to pinpoint what email address is causing this problem?

Thank you for your help.

I was thinking of completely dropping the user data and re-importing it. Anything you want me to do before you call?

I was able to solve this problem... The issue has something to do with the length of time the SMTP server is spending sending that email.

I'm not sure why, but it took more than a minute to send to that particular email address. During that time the connection to the database timed out.

The solution that worked was to close the connection to the database before sending the email and then re-establish a connection once the mail was sent. This appears to have solved the problem.

Thanks. I had tried loging out of the system but it wasn't working. I'm glad it works now.
