I bought this software quite some time ago. I have not been able to use it because everytime I install I get error messages

I have made several attempts to try to use this software. But, I always receive some type of error. My account shows that I have used two licenses but I have never been able to build anything because of the errors. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success.

What extensions including the version numbers are installed?

Try reseting the workspace layout:
go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

There's Not A Reset Under Work Space Layout

What version of Dreamweaver? There should be an option under the workspace menu to reset the workspace layout, see the attached screen shot.
