Which fields to complete for PayPal Payments Pro

We have a PayPal Payments Pro account. I have generated the API information to fill in the User,
Password and Signature fields for a PayPal Express Only option choice.

Will this information be able to be used with my PayPal Payments Pro option choice fields?

Do I need to generate anything else when selecting the PayPal Payments Pro option to fill in
the Processor ID, Merchant ID, Transaction Password and Transaction URL fields? Or,
can I leave those fields blank?

The API User, API Password and API Signature are all that is needed for paypal payments pro, the other fields are not necessary

ok...now the problem is the following message:

We're sorry

Your transaction could not be completed. Either your credit card information or billing address has problems and cannot be processed

Whenever trying to use a credit card and NOT PayPal, thi is the message I get......

Ideas?

in the admin, enable debug mode, that will show details of the cause of the failure.

Jason, even though PayPay says we have a PayPal Payment Pro account, I am wondering if that is really the case. I see an invalid merchant configuration. I have spent a good deal of time logged into PayPal and don't really have a clue.

Ideas? For now I have selected PayPal Express Only until it's figured out.
