PHP?

Hi, I purchased eCart yesterday for my Dreamweaver website, but when I try and access the tools it says something along the lines of 'only works for .php files'. How do I use the eCart on Dreamweaver?

Before starting, make sure to properly define your Dreamweaver site for Dynamic development:

Then Create a new PHP File and save it to your site.

any pages that you add eCart to will need to have the .php extension.

eCart will not work with static pages that use the .htm or .html extension.

Can I use eCart to create a shopping cart on a website that has already been made. How do I change it from .html to .php? Will I have to re-build my website?

you will need to rename the files from:

page.htm

to:
page.php

and change the links to use the new file name.
