Adding extra 'add to cart' options for certain products

hi there

I have an add to cart page set up and working well:

what I want to do now is add a couple more Purchase buttons that will work for example:

1: with insurance £25 extra

2. another similar option

Also - these other options are for a certain type of product only, based on the product's categoryID for example

Can you point me in the right direction please ?

Thanks for your help.

I'm trying to go down the route of static options as the same options will apply to every product... I've added the drop down and the extra eCart column etc but whenever I add anything to eCart I just get a blank page...

I've turned on error reporting but the line in code it's referring to doesn't correspond to what I've added...

the error coresponds to the 2ormorestd shipping rule, it does not have any trigger or conditions set, delete that shipping rule in the cart object.

that's weird - that code's been working like that for a year... it's only since I started adding the extra column today that I've had the error

... well I just pasted back the 2ormorestd from my previous version of eCart and it's working... maybe a clash somewhere
