How do I save session after login into database?
I want to save the login session (MemberID) into a logfile database table in order to build a logfile table. How do I do this with the standard Security Assist login form? Thanks for any help

on the login page, edit the Security Authenticate user server behavior. make sure the redirect on success setting is left blank, then go to the session tab and note the name of the ID session that gets created.
open the bindings panel, expand the session collection and make sure there is a binding for the ID session, if not create one by clicking the plus button, select session, and name the binding the same as the session you noted in the session tab of the authenticate user behavior.
Now add an insert record behavior, on the server behaviors tab, click the plus button and select webassist -> data assist -> insert record -> insert Single record.
select the log table and bind the log user ID column to the ID session variable created by the login.
make sure that the insert behavior code is after the authenticate user code. it will probably be added before, in which case you will need to manually re arrange the code blocks.
When I select the session <?php echo $_SESSION['SecurityAssist_MEMID']; ?> for insert binding, I'm getting the fowllowing error:
"Please enter a valid name for the session variable that will store the inserted id"
On the first page of the insert behavior, make sure to add a name to save the inserted ID to a session.
Isn't this the (auto increment) id of the logfile table that will be saved into a session?
I'd like to save the ID from the member's table and the IP-address of the member when he's logging in not the ID of the logfile table.
that is done in the Authenticate user server behavior on the session tab, but when inserting a record to the log file, it will also store the logfile id to a session.
