Data Bridge DataAssist Create Pages - Not responding

Hi Jason,

I am having an issue when trying to create pages under DataAssist. I can launch the panel and choose the existing table, set the server settings, but when I try to go under manage pages the panel freezes and then says Not responding. I am trying to access a remote MySQL database and this is happening in DW CC and DW C6.

The following may or may not relate to the issue, but last week I had to contact Adobe because my subscription was not showing up correctly and Adobe tech had me edit the host file for the OS.

thx
Eric

try uninstalling Data Bridge then make sure to re install the latest version available from the download center, 1.1.4.

if you continue to have a problem, see the PM Section.

Hi Jason,

I have run into the issue again. I was thinking it may be an issue trying to access the remote database. I changed to the local copy of the database, but DataAssist freezes once the panel opens.

I have uninstalled, cleared the cache, turned off the server panel, nothing is working. This is happening in DW CC and DW CS6.

thx
Eric

I also get Not Responding when opening DataAssist Pages

I tried renaming the configuration folder and installing only Data Bridge but the wizard still hangs.

If you are using a windows system with IE 11, try disabling the preview.

Go to Webassist -> Preferences

in the preview section, select the option to disable the preview.

I am running Windows & IE11 and your work-around appears to have resolved the hanging.

However I find the preview invaluable.
