validation text not showing

Hey Jason

Not sure why, but the validation text on the telephone field is not showing on this form (http://www.dorsetfoodies.co.uk/contact.php) when the field is empty although it does show the error message if the email format is incorrect.

If the field is empty, it should be displaying "Please enter your email address".

There is no spry validation applied to the telephone field.

you can add spry validation to it by selecting the telephone field, then going to insert -> Spry -> Spry validation text field.

for the email field, there is no error for the required state.

the code for the errors is:
<span class="textfieldInvalidFormatMsg">Invalid email format.</span><span class="textfieldRequiredMsg"> </span>

the text field required message is empty:
<span class="textfieldRequiredMsg"> </span>

no worries, the email required message doesn't show because there is not one. the code for the errors is:
<span class="textfieldInvalidFormatMsg">Invalid email format.</span><span class="textfieldRequiredMsg"> </span>

the text field required message is empty:
<span class="textfieldRequiredMsg"> </span>
