Creating Pop up when creating external link.

Ok, I have a client who needs to have an alert of confirmation box appear when clicking on external links within their site. How can I get it to allow me to do this within the HTML editor? Right now I have a javascript function named exit set up, but am unsure how to tie that into a external link within the HTML editor.

CKEditor does not offer a way to add an onclick event to the link in the link dialog box, you will need to view source and manually add the onclick event to the link.
