Pricing based quantity

I need to add a quantity discount variable. The pricing would change based on how many items are purchased. This would apply to a single product like vitamin tablets.

For example:
1-5 price = \$29.99
6-11 price = \$27.99
12-35 price = \$25.99
36+ = \$22.99

will there be different discounts for other products?

Will the discounts for other products use the same quantity breaks? or will the quantity breaks be different?

If the quantity breaks will be different, will there be the same number of breaks for all products?

Joel - For now, it will be on a single item, but in the future, we might add more products and the might have different price points.

you need to plan for that now otherwise, you will need to completely redo the logic.

It is a completely different method to do it one way or the other, so you need to have the long term plan in mind when creating the discounts.

If it will apply to different products with different price points in the future, I need to know those details now in order to give you the right solution that you wont have to recreate later down the road.
