Truncated Item list on e-mails.

When a customer orders multiple items from the store, all of the items don't show up in the e-mail that is sent to the customer or to the store managers. They have to wait until the transaction clears to view all of the items that were ordered. We are using Authorize.net. I have contacted them and they tell me that currently there is no way for them to add space to the e-mails that are generated on their end so that all of the items appear. Does E-Cart have a way that I can configure the e-mails so that there is more space for all of the items to show up on the order without having to wait for Authorize.net to clear the transaction? Your help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Have a nice day!

Best Regards,

This is an issue with the way authorize.net generates the issue, there is not something that can be done in eCart to hcange this.

If you are using the SIM implamentation method with authorize.net, the order is not processed in real time, meaning that the transaction is not appoved for success or failure until Authorize.net have cleared the transaction, you should not be relying on that initial email for notification to ship, you should be relying Authorize.net clearing the transaction before you ship.

if you use the AIM method, that is a real time payment method, if you also have data bridge, you will be able to configure universal email to send a receipt when the transaction is placed.

Jason,
I think it's the AIM method. They do rely on Authorize.net clearing the transaction before they ship the items. But, when the e-mail is sent out, all of the items don't show up on a big order with multiple items. My bosses were just wondering if I could do anything in E-Cart to make all the items show up in the e-mail. Thanks for your help anyway Jason. Have a nice day!

The AIM Method would mean the user is entering the Checkout detail son your site (Local Checkout).

If you are using local checkout, and you have Data Bridge, when you run the checkout wizard, you can configure to have Universal Email send the cart details in an email and not have to rely on the one sent by authorize.net.

The SIM method means going to the Authorize.net server for checkout, using this method, you will need to rely on the receipt sent by Authorize.net. they do not offer much in the way of customizing that receipt.
