html editor attach image validate

Hi WebAssist

I have a problem to which I can't find the solution. Using DataBridge v 1.1.3 I built DataAssist admin pages and added the HTML Editor to the Insert and Update pages. This all works fine. I then decided to add the attach image button to the HTML Editor toolbar which is fine, but when adding an image by selecting the Browse Server button on the Inset page, instead of the file browser popping up, the login page pops up instead.

The pop-up login window has this in the address bar:

http://streamclip.com/college/admin/index.php?accesscheck=%2Fcollege%2Fwebassist%2Fkfm%2Findex.php%3Fuicolor%3D%2523eee%26theme%3Dwebassist_v2%26CKEditor%3Dnews_text%26CKEditorFuncNum%3D3%26langCode%3Den

Which I notice looks similar to this line in the HTML editor (may be a red herring):

$CKEditor_config["filebrowserBrowseUrl"] = "../webassist/kfm/index.php?uicolor=".urlencode(isset($CKEditor_config["uiColor"])?str_replace("#","#",$CKEditor_config["uiColor"]):"#eee")."&theme=webassist_v2&showsidebar=false";

I imagine this has something to do with a failed CKEditor validation somewhere. I looked into the kfm folder, particularly the configuration file. It lists a kfm_db but I'm not sure where that database is. There aren't any extra tables or fields in my MySQL database other than the ones I created myself.

The database may not have anything to do with it, but it does seem something isn't configured correctly causing the validation to fail and pop up the login page when attaching an image in the HTML Editor.

I've attached an image of the login pop-up.

Thanks for any help with this propblem.
Paul

go to Webassist -> Form -> HTML Editor -> Site Settings

On the security tab, you can select the Security Assist User Rule that is allowed access to the File manager

Make sure to select the "Logged into <your user table>" access rule (where <your user table> is the name of your users table).

Nearly There...

Thanks Jason for your prompt reply. After following your instructions, I'm no longer greeted by the login page so the validation must be OK. But now the pop-up window states:

alert("MDB2 Error: no such table\nselect * from wafm2_parameters")

As though it's looking for a database that doesn't exist. Should I look for this database to see if it has been created?

Also server is running PHP version 5.3

Thank you for your help

In your database delete all the tables whose names begin with:
wafm2

they will be recreated if they don't exist.

wafm2 tables

Jason, I looked into the MySQL database and there doesn't appear to be any wafm2 tables in there, so don't think they have been created...

are you looking at your local MySQL server or the remote MySQL server, you should be looking on the remote server.

wafm2 tables

Hi Jason. Admittedly was looking in local, but have now looked at the remote MySQL server and there are only tables I've created in there. I re-uploaded the entire webassist folder just in case but same error message and no extra tables on the remote server.

I did find this thread on a similar problem but it doesn't go as far as giving the solution.

I'm wondering whether it's because I added the attach image button to the editor toolbar sometime after the pages where originally created.
