How do I edit menu from Site Assist Template

Thread began 9/26/2013 12:33 pm by lrawlins367093 | Last modified 9/26/2013 9:01 pm by lrawlins367093 | 1111 views | 2 replies |

How do I edit menu from Site Assist Template

I have made several tries to edit a menu created using Site Assist Pro.

Editing in Site Assist results in a train wreck with lots of new empty pages created that add "0" to the file names.

I have upgraded to Design Extender and can not find what steps I need to take to edit the menu.

I go to WebAssist > CSS MenuWriter
I click on the first "Define" button and navigate to the root directory of my website which brings up some of the menu items but not all.
When I make my edits and click Finish I get a prompt to save some unspecified file to an unknown location.

I can only think there is something really obvious that I am missing.

Yes I have read the GSG and still am clueless how to edit my menu.

Any clues appreciated.

if it is a php page, select the menu in design view, that should bring up the edit option in the property inspector.

If it is an html page, you need to enable script invisible elements in the DW Preferences.

In DW Preferences, go to the Invisible elements section and click the Scripts option.

In design View it will show a shield icon next to it, clic that and that should trigger the menu edit option in the property inspector.
