You mis what the Face book like is for.

It is not for Liking a face book account address, it is for liking a web page.

To show faces of those who have liked your page, you need to click the Show Faces option.

To add the facebook like widget, go to Webassist -> Social Media -> Facebook Like. Inthe settings, add the address for the page you wish to like, and click the Show Faces option.

Hi Jason

I know that what it is for but on my page its not showing all the faces available. Also I have done that and I ticked show faces but its not showing all and I know there is a way to show all but cant remember how.

Also if you go on my page and try to like the page or send you can see the pop up that comes up is cut of and you cant see it all. is this because I have overflow hidden on the div?

Thanks again Jason

I get this error message

For the error, see this page for details:
http://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/questions/1484926-facebook-like-button-shows-error

basically you need to include the FB Namespace and Open graph Meta tags to help Facebook determine what elements to share.

for the like settings, you have entered the sites domain, the like tool is for liking a specific page on the site, not the entire site.

HI Jason

Thanks for getting back to me. I have had a look at the link for the error but have no idea on what there talking about or how to correct it. Sorry I need I laid out in a basic manor.

Also in reference to the like settings I want it to be for the main page so how is this done?

Basically, edit the html tag to include the face book namespace:

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:fb="http://ogp.me/ns/fb#">

and add the open graph meta tags for title, description, and image to your page:
<meta property="og:title" content="Title that will show on FaceBook" />
<meta property="og:description" content="Description that will show on facebook" />
<meta property="og:image" content="http://yourdomain.com/images/icon.jpg" />

for the like, you should use a full path to the index page, instead of just the domain:
http://mydomian.com/index.php
