Dreamweaver CC installation issue

Hi,

i try to install webassist addon's right now (data brigde etc) but there is always the same error in adobe extension manager cc:

unable to read: /user/"name"/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamwever CC/de_DE/Configuration/Menus/Menus.xml

the folder Dreamweaver CC does not exists on my computer (os x user).

any ideas? thx for your quick help

The Dreamweaver CC folder should be created when you install Dreamweaver CC, if this folder does not exist, it sounds like the Dreamweaver CC Installation did not complete correctly.

Have you installed the deprecated server behaviors extension?

do you get the same error installing the Adobe extension?

If so, you should contact Adobe support for help.

Hi Jason!

thx for your quick answer. i have reinstalled the whole software.
my only problem is now ecart. error message:

the database could not be updated. the extension will not install.

what now?

this is a bug with the CC Extension Manager on Mac OS.

If you open DW, you should see that the extension is actually installed. I tested with eCart and got the same error, but opening DW, eCart was under the Insert -> WebAssist menu and was functional.

This issue is happening for other extensions as well, not just ours, there are a few threads about it on the Adobe forums, the Project 7 Forums, and DMX Zone forums.
