Is it possible to create coupon for only advanced product option? Like a coupon for only e-book and not print book?

I want to create a coupon for e-books only. Our e-books are in the system as advanced options of the printed book. Is it possible to have a coupon for just the e-book and not the printed book?

No, the coupons cannot be applied to product options, only the overarching product.

Will it hurt anything if I remove the physical product from the ps4_couponproducts table so that only the e-book ProductID is listed?
