'add to cart' button don't add a dynamic product to the cart. How to fix it?

hi. I have a dynamic website and trying to build a cart for it. It is happening on product details page, i added an 'add to cart' button a, but when i press it it redirects to the cart page and don't add anything, showing that the cart is empty. Can you help me to define what is wrong with the code and how to fix it?

This is probbaly an issue with session settings on the server.

use the attached session test page to make suer that the server can properly save sessions.

if the test fails it is probably an issue with the session.save path setting in the php.ini file, you will need to have the host correct the issue.

The server seems to be working properly, because the test went well. What else could be the problem? This is the localhost, but all other things are working properly...
