Error 500 previewing loca

I'm attempting to preview a page via localhost to which I've added 3 ATC buttons. I get a 500 server error when previewing through Chrome and in Firebug, this:
"NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error - http://localhost/Horizon/buy-batteries.php"

Other pages in the site preview fine with localhost. How do I debug?

Thanks - Joe

try adding the following code at line 1 to turn on error reporting:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

Thanks. I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function GetContent() on a non-object in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/Horizon/buy-batteries.php on line 11

Here's my initial code up to line 11:

<?php
error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>
<?php
//WA eCart Include
require_once("WA_eCart/horizon_PHP.php");
?>
<?php require_once('Connections/horizon.php'); ?>
<?php
$horizon->GetContent();
?>

the Cart object and connection are using the same name.

you need to use unique names for the cart object and connection, they cannot be named the same.
