Can the checkout information be manipulated?

Can the checkout information be manipulated?

We have a client that would like to remove the street address, city and state from the checkout data collected. They say that they will change their security protocol with however, if we remove these fields from the checkout page, will this cause any problems with a successful checkout?

According to the documentation, the address info is required under the following circumstances:

Required if merchant would like to use the Address Verification Service security feature.
Required when using GPN Canada or WorldPay Streamline Processing Platform.
For more information on AVS, see the Merchant Integration Guide at http://

so it looks like it should be OK to remove those fields if you disable the Address Verification Service security feature in your account.
