PayPal planned to discontinue support for HTTP 1.0

One of my clients has had the following message from Paypal

we planned to discontinue support for HTTP 1.0 protocol starting the 7th of October, 2013.

Can you tell me what I need to do please?

I only want to make minimal changes as I have modified the shipping section through paid support
