client has products he can't sell on line only in his store due to agreements with the manufacturers

can we add the products but have them show available in store only like on Walmart's site

When adding a product to the catalog, uncheck the "Make this item available to purchase" option.

Sorry, my mistake.

Mark the item as available to purchase, then on the additional settings page, uncheck the unlimited inventory option and set the stock to 0.

This will show as sold out.

you can change the sold out message by editing the webassist/plugins/catalog/details.php page.
