Images not displaying consistently

I have used the Image Resizer plugin quite a bit, but I am having trouble getting images to display consistantly...

On a Blog detail page some images are not displaying - http://nikismschallenges.co.uk/kennet-avon-walk/am-i-fit-enough and also the same issue for the same post on the blog home page - http://nikismschallenges.co.uk/

However, others are showing with no problems -http://nikismschallenges.co.uk/kennet-avon-walk/my-biggest-challenge-yet

where you are using mod rewrite, you need to use a base href that points to the root of your site.

your base tag:
<base href="../apple-touch-icon-72x72.png" />

should be:
<base href="http://nikismschallenges.co.uk/" />

you should include the same base tag on the home page.

What about the bottom blog post? The image apears to be there, it is showing a little distprted because the orginal is 149 x 40:

and you are sizing it to be larger.
