Menu Manager does not include the append item

Menu Manager does not include the append item

I have followed the instructions but I am unable to append anything to a link.

The Edit Menu Structure displays the appended Link data BUT the menu.php does NOT contain the appended data for example:-

/categories.php?cat=[sectionID] is dispayed in the Edit Menu Structure Link

menu.php contains:-

<li><a href="<?php echo($assumedRoot); ?>categories.php"><?php echo $row_menuwriter_sections["sectionName"]; ?></a></li>

I have seen this issue with other users, but we have not been able to replicate this on our installs. The workaround seems to be when you first write the url for the dynamic menu, you should leave out the "?". When menu.php is created, you can manually add the "?" into the url. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Yet another work around

Yet again something doesn't work and a work around is provided why can't your extensions work as you state they do?

I had already resolved the issue by manually entering the values but I shouldn't have to do this you state in the manual and on your site that the values are entered automatically then that is what should happen!

I'm sorry for this, we are working on getting a fix for the users who experience the issue. We have not been able to replicate this behavior in any of our internal tests.

Same issue with append and Menu Writer

I have the same issue. It was very aggravating and perplexing to run through the How To and have it not work. I kept thinking I had mistyped something over and over :) I hope you find the bug soon.

Here is my set up ( if it helps replicate it ?)

CSS Menu Writer v2.02
DWCS4 v10.0 Build 4117
Windows Vista Home Premium SP2
Sony Vaio T7250

Anybody having this problem that lives near Webassist ? Maybe you can have a Webassist technology person come over and debug it ??? :)
