Please ensure your selection inside body tag before continuing

I am unable to insert form receive following notice: Please ensure your selection inside body tag before continuing

I have tried inserting in both code view and design view, both with similar results. I have deleted the cache file. On existing forms, if I try to insert a form element like Datepicker, it inserts randomly removing existing form elements not where my cursor was placed.

It sounds like it could be an issue with the page you are using. Maybe and unclosed tag on the page or something causing it to not recognize the body.

If you attach a copy of the page to a reply to this post I'll see if I can reproduce the problem. Please also include your phone number in the private area and I'll give you a call to reproduce if I can't reproduce it on my end.

Sure. It can be a brand new page. I am attaching an example with screen shot. I am using Dreamweaver CC, probably should have mentioned that previously.

This was an issue with having the line break settings set to Windows when working on a MAC and that caused the dreamweaver selections to be thrown off. We updated the preferences and corrected this problem.
