Won't save colors or images

Finally got 2.0 to install without errors on my own, but now it won't SAVE any colors or images...the layout saves, but the colors or images in the formatting go back to the automatic presets - not my changes (I've done this thousands of times before so it's not what I'm doing). Have tried saving 10x and reinstalled 2x..... talked to a support person yesterday about the install problem, but he was in a hurry for a meeting so only had 5 minutes for my problem and said he'd call back - never did...I finally got it installed on my own, but now am having this saving problem. I have a customers project I actually need to get done and am seeing your products get minimal support. (when a meeting is more important than a CUSTOMER there is something wrong!)

What OS are you using? What version of Dreamweaver?

What extensions, including the version numbers are in stalled?

When you edit the design, are the CSS files open in Dreamweaver? Make sure they are closed. if they are open that can cause changed to be disregarded.

In your site, do you have the file check in / out setting enabled?

if so you will need to checkout the CSS files in order for changes to be saved.
