how can I select the time as well as the date?

the date picker will only allow me to select the date, can you please let me know what I need to do to select the time as well?
my MySQL table field is set to 'DATETIME'

in itself, datepicker doesn't do this, but there is a free add-on which allows you to add time functionality, - you should need only a little bit of coding experience to implement it.

if you don't actually need the time to be stored, just change the datatype in the mysql table
