file permissions error occurred Please check permissions script directory try again

Setting up an new gallery and testing the direct link to view it has the above message? Also on the site I have the ribbon+fullsize+light box. When the page opens you cannot see any images but if you click in the area they should be then the larger image opens? Why is it on page open the gallery cannot be seen?

This error means that the directory that Power Messenger is installed to does not have write permissions.

Use a 3rd part FTP tool like File Zilla to access the FTP Server and change the permissions for the directory power messenger is uploaded into to allow write access.

for the gallery load problem, please provide a link.
