the old background is set in the webassist/themes/mmOilveoils/css/configurable.css file:
.ps_pod4 {
background-color: #16292D;
background-image: url("../images/bg.banner.png");
}
replace that with yours
Jason:
I followed your directions and did not get different results.
Thank you, I removed the background color.
How do I center the image in the white border?
What is the css for the border?
Thank you.
Stuart
the point is: instead of adding the background image to the store message, edit the css class i noted in my previous reply to use your background image.
that will center it automatically.
Go it, but now I have a generic image on top of my background. How do I remove it. (unwanted_object.png)
Also, I published and saved my theme, but it appears in the admin in black, with the generic logo. (different banner) What is weird is that it appears ok when I put a page on a browser. What am I doing wrong?
I have attached two files for you to see.
Thank you.
I believe the generaic image is coming from the CMS Section.
in the admin, go to Contents, and edit the Home Page -> Contents.
when editing the theme, that screen just means that it sees changes that have been made but not saved, it allows yo to start form the unsaved point, or to discard the unsaved changes. For the most part you will usually chose to discard the unsaved changes.
This normally happens if you start the Design Editor, then close it without saving.
I followed your path and see nothing in CMS (attached is a a screenshot)
Thank you
in the http://www.mmoliveoils.com/PowerStore453/PowerStore%20Files/webassist/themes/mmOilveoils/css/purple_styles.css file remove the background image for the following CSS:
#main .banner .info {
background: url("../images/example.featured.png") no-repeat scroll 600px 60px transparent;
height: 262px;
padding: 40px 0 0;
width: 933px;
}
