changing a menu - what to publish?

I have a site I haven't had to modify in a while but now I need to add a menu point. It's using a DW template and CSS Menu Writer within the .dwt. I'm wondering if I have to publish up the whole site (which I'd rather not do for a variety of reasons) if I make a menu change or if I can just upload particular WA files? It's been so long since I've modified it I don't remember.

Thanks.

If it is a php site, you can just publish the CSSMenuWriter folder.

if it is an HTML site, you will need to publish all the files.

Fyi, for anyone else with this question, there is one more step. I would have guessed just publishing the CSSMenuWriter folder would work too as the dwt template's only references to the menu were:

<script type="text/javascript" src="../CSSMenuWriter/cssmw/menu.js"></script>
<?php require_once("../CSSMenuWriter/cssmw/menu.php"); ?>
<style type="text/css" media="all">
<!--
@import url("../CSSMenuWriter/cssmw/menu.css");
-->
</style>

But when I published up the CSSMenuWriter folder I got this error:

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../../webassist/framework/library.php' (include_path='.:/usr/services/vux/lib/php') in /data/25/2/98/45/2424045/user/2657060/htdocs/spyglasscondos/CSSMenuWriter/cssmw/menu.php on line 4

So I published up the webassist directory as well. As far as I can tell now, it all seems to be working well.

Thanks, Jason. This was much easier than publishing up the whole site.

Yes, newer versions of menu writer will also need the webassist/framework/library.php file published.
