Registration entries (records in a database) Is there a way to set up the database to not let someone register using the exact same email and password, even thought their status is in an undefined state?

Registration entries (records in a database) Is there a way to set up the database to not let someone register using the exact same email and password, even thought their status is in an undefined state?

Registration entries (records in a database), I have twice now, a person register to have access to secure pages on my site (using Secure Assist), and when their user status is changed, one only one record, it still blocks them , because they are not approved on the other. I think my question is on how to avaid the conflicting entries. Is there a way to set up the database to not let someone register using the exact same email and password, even thought their status is in an undefined state?

The email address, regardless of the password should be a unique field.

when running the Security Assist wizard to create the registration and login pages, go to the manage pages tab, and in the field settings section, se the email address column to be a unique database entry.

I think the "unique database entry" is set.

How can I check it, if the registration page has been created?
I did a test and created a new page, and in the wizard, I was able to see/set the email to be a unique entry. But with the establish registration page, how do I get to the Security Assist page manager to see the setting?

I've just got an other question about settings on zip codes, but I'll put that in a new post.

Edit the Server Validation server behavior and add a Unique database Value validation type for the email address column.

the "unique database entry" is set.

I did an other test and the default when setting it up is to be a unique database value validation type. Is there a way to manage/change it once it has been created?

Yes, you can edit the server validation server behavior to make changes.
