Can you add tax rule to one item on a repeat region

I've created a repeat region section on one of our shopping cart pages, however, my client has just informed me that one of the items is now taxable. Is there a way to add a tax rule to just one of the items without removing it from that table and putting it on its own individual table of "static" add to cart button?

Thanks
Jackie

to have some items be taxable and some items not taxable, you would create a new column for taxable in the cart object.

items that are not taxable should get a value of 0, items that are taxable should get a value of 1 in the add to cart button.

you can then create a tax rule that uses the Items where taxable is equal to one for the trigger and calculation.

thanks Jason!
We have a tax rule in place, however, because this is a list of items included in a repeat region, I have an option for one add to cart button. If I choose tax on the button, wouldn't it be taxing everything in that repeat region?
