Unable to install CSS Sculptor upgrade

Unable to delete old version 2.0.3 or install new version 2.0.4 of CSS Sculptor despite deleting the WinFileCache, rebooting computer, etc. Error message is "the WACSSSculptor.dll is being used by Dreamweaver CS3 and try again". Two hours of trying everything and nothing works.

Sculptor won't delete!

I'm having the same problem. 1 hour later still waiting for EM 4 to remove Sculptor 2.03 but it is still in limbo. I'm on Mac Leopard 10.5.8 and CS4 Suite. It took 15 minutes for SA Pro to uninstall. What is with these extensions!???

I am in complete agreement

My experience is the same as yours. And now, after hours of trying with futility to install the new version, the old version remains but has LOST ALL FUNCTION. It is present in the menus, it cannot be deleted and the new version installed, yet IT CANNOT BE ACCESSED BY ANY OF THE COMMANDS to create a new CSS Sculptor page or invoke the LAYOUT. This software is not ready for 'prime time'. I did not give it a real trial until after the 30 day time period. My mistake.

If you are unable to uninstall an already installed extension then there is likely some sort of corruption of your configuration folder. Unfortunately the way to get it in a working order will also uninstall all of your other extensions in the process. You will need to clear out your configuration folder then afterwards remove the extensions that you see left over in the extension manager. Here is a link to a post that details exactly where and how to do this, please give this a try. Afterwards you should have no problems installing this new version or any other extensions.
