HTML Editor not working in IE 8, 9, or 10

I currently have the data bridge installed and the html editor is not working in IE8 or above. I have inserted the code <meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=8"> before the closing head tag in the KFM folder index file.

When using the html editor it does not let me select the text to insert a link nor does it allow me to hit enter for a new line. When the kfm file window comes up it will not display the files, nor will it show the directories. Any help to get this back on track would be greatly appreciated.

What version of Data Bridge are you using?

The Latest version of Data Bridge uses an newer version of the CKEditor.

make sure you have Data Bridge 1.1.3 installed, then delete the webassist/ckeditor and webassist/kfm folder. edit the HTML Editor instance and click OK, to have those folders recreated using the newer version.

in the webassist/kfm/idex.php file, use IE9 mode instead of IE8:

<meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=9">
